It uses the same notes as C-G-Am-F, but starting on Am puts the minor colour first. Outline A, C and E in bar one, and pass through B or D over the G so the loop turns back into Am naturally. Keeping bars one and two low and lifting on the C in bar three builds a clear arc inside a single chorus.
